YASA SHIPMANAGEMENT AND TRADING S.A. was established in April 1999.

The company started to place bulk carrier new building orders at Tsuneishi Japan and Tsuneishi Cebu shipyards in June 1999. The first vessels of Tess-52 type bulk carriers were taken delivery in October 2000.

The company grew bulk carrier fleet by taking in vessels under management in addition to owned vessels.

YASA SHIPMANAGEMENT AND TRADING S.A. is the management company ( the Company ) of YA-SA Shipping controlled fleet duly delegated as the Managers. At present the Company provides professional shipmanagement and dry bulk cargo transportation service to top-tier customers all around the world with a team of highly experienced individuals dedicated to achieving excellence for our clients.

All vessels are operated under the International Safety Management Code and additionally certified to ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management standards and ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management standards by Class NK.
